To sign up as a guest/veteran/soldier, follow these basic instructions to sign up.
Go to http://www.hotboatdeals.com/ and click on register at the top right corner to create a FREE account. Your account is needed so we can identify you when you come to the website.
Verify that your email works by activating your account by clicking the activation link sent to the email address you provided during registration.
Login to the website using your email address as the username and your password.
Go to the events menu and click on BOASTY. Check the locations list to see if an on water location close to you is listed. Or you can click the upcoming dates to see if there is a boat nearby which matches your schedule. The location is is the boat launch location or rather where you would be meeting up your host. IE... dock, boat launch, marina, etc...
Find the boat you want to go on by location and click the the boat profile picture to view the information about the day that host is offering.
Once you find the host you'd like to go with, click the date link next to the picture of the boat which specifies the day of that host is going out.
Fill out the form with as much information as you can provide. Please upload a picture of yourself if you would like to let your host see what you look like. Provide the other information on the form and then tell your story about yourself. The story you provide will help your host make a connection with you. Based on that connection will determine whether or not the host you picked will accept you.
Be aware that other soldiers or veterans may have already also requested to go with that host and there may not be enough room on it. If their guest capacity is filled before getting to your request, you will be sent an email notifying you of this and you can then request another boat for that day. You may sign up for different days with different boats to make sure that you get to go out.
As hosts accept you, an email message notifying you of their acceptance will be sent to your message inbox as well as your email address if email notifications are turned on. Please bring your military ID to present to your host on the day you go out.
Just after accepting your request, your hosts will be able to see the phone number and email contact information you provided during the signup process. It will then be up to your host to contact you directly and inform you of where to meet up with you for your day of fun on the water. Please respect their privacy and do not attempt to contact them through the website or other means before the event. If there is a problem with you being able to attend the event, please contact BOASTY via our contact form.
